The Tunstall War Memorial - Home

Home

Welcome to this website specifically dedicated to all those who fell in the two World Wars, 1914-18 and 1939-1945, and who are comemorated on the Tunstall War Memorial and also in Churches and other places of worship in the Tunstall area of Stoke on Trent.

In this site we give you a history of the Memorial Obelisk, the Memorial Gardens and of course thePrivate Harry Hancock new Memorial Wall opened in the past few years. We have a nice Photo Gallery on the site that contains a number of images. If you have any that you would like to contribute then please let us know.

Our main work though in compiling this website has been the listing of the Fallen from both World Wars. We are indebted to all those who have helped in this process, and we do hope that you will find the listings easy to browse through and, above all, accurate. If you have a relative from this area who fell during the conflicts, and want to add to, or correct,Driver William H Adams the information that we have and which is shown on this site, then please get in touch with using our Contact Form.

Thank you. We are sure that there is a lot of information that is still available and that can usefully be added to what we already have.
